Happy Feast of St. Mary Magdalen
St Mary Magdalen Day this year will be celebrated next Sunday, 24th July. The main Mass will have special music, and afterwards there will be something to eat. I have been asked to ask you to bring food for a buffet. If someone is able to arrange flowers, it would be good to bring flowers for our Holy Patron by Friday.
I have five invitations from the Bishop to a pilgrimage to The Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation, at West Grinstead on Sunday 17th July.
There will be a coach leaving from Hove – let me know if you would like one.
Talk given by Fr Richard Biggerstaff of the St Barnabas Society 16 April 2016 at a day of recollection at St Mary Magdalen Church, Brighton entitled ‘Did Not Our Hearts Burn Within Us’
Of your charity pray for Neville Hinton who has broken his hip and for Czeslaw Teul (Anne Eves’s brother) who is dying.
Pray too for the intentions on the prayer scroll at the Mercy Shrine.
Masses for Ash Wednesday will be at 10am and 7pm
